Computational biology and bioinformatics

Research Description

Computational biology and bioinformatics, particularly phylogenetics, detecting and reconstructing horizontal gene transfer, gene finding, genotype-phenotype associations, and signaling networks.

Computational phylogenetics in Historical Linguistics.

Algorithm design and analysis.

Experimental and empirical performance studies.
