Research Topic

Transcription Factor Binding Site Discovery

Research Description

In collaboration with Dr. Aleksandar Rajkovic, we are working on developing tools and methods in transcription factor binding site discovery. Specifically, we are investigating the oocyte tissue specific transcription factor Nobox which is essential for development of the ovary. We will be extrapolating out these methods for integration and use in the Genboree Discovery System, enabling the analysis to be performed right from the Genboree (www.genboree.org) genome browser.
